General terms and conditions

Before starting, you must agree in writing to our terms and conditions:

• The renter is deemed to have received the E-Chopper in good condition. Horeca Spoordonk B.V. (later to be called HS) is deemed to have delivered the E-chopper in good condition.
• Driving the E-chopper is only allowed for persons aged 16 and older in possession of a valid moped certificate (driving license AM) or driving license B. You must be able to show this when asked.
• Renting an E-Chopper is entirely at your own risk. The E-choppers are WA insured. The renter is liable for damage due to theft and all other damage caused or inflicted to the rented E-Chopper, regardless of whether the fault is caused by the renter or by third parties. The renter shall pay the resulting costs of repair as well as the costs of replacement, including those of damaged parts, to HS in cash or by PIN no later than the agreed date.
• The E-chopper may not be driven by third parties. Should this be the case, the renter is liable for damages in the event of an accident.
• During the activity you are a traffic participant and you must comply with the applicable traffic rules for an electric scooter / (moped) cyclists. Fines and or fines resulting from any traffic violations during the rental period are always at the expense of the renter. Fines will be recovered from the driver of the vehicle. It is strictly forbidden to drive with alcohol.
• To prevent damage by third parties and theft, you must always park the E-chopper in plain sight.
• Renting an E-chopper is completely at your own risk. HS is not liable for damage caused to goods, tenant and/or third parties during the rental period. This includes damage to clothing caused by rain, mud and/or other dirt.
• If the maximum rental time is exceeded, an additional amount of €7.50 per E-chopper per quarter hour will be charged. If you return early, the full rental price remains intact.

Below is a price list for replacing and repairing the most common damages:

• Mudguard: € 70,-
• Dent: € 50,-
• Damage to front tire due to violation of user rules/rental conditions: €100
• Damage to rear tire due to violation of usage rules/rental conditions: €100.
